You can view back-dated copies of The Simmarian in the online archive. If you haven't already given us your email address and would like to receive the newsletter, please complete our online form.
Where are they now?
This is a section within Simmarian Online where you can let us and other Simmarians know what you have been up to since leaving St Mary’s. If you wish to appear in the next edition of Simmarian Online please send us your details by completing the online form.
Have you ever wondered what your friends from St Mary's are doing now?
The Alumni Relations Office runs the alumni postbox to help put you in touch with lost friends. Due to the Data Protection Act 1998, we cannot give out other people's details without their permission, but we can forward stamped mail or contact someone on your behalf requesting they contact you.
Did you know that many formal and informal
groups of former students meet regularly to remember their time at St Mary's
and keep in touch?
If you would like to join any of our local, national or international groups, please contact the Alumni Relations Office and we'll put you in touch with them (if there's not one near you, you may wish to start your own group!):

In 2011 Joe Loughran (1972) and a group of fellow Simmarians came up with the idea to host smaller, informal and more frequent gatherings, outside of the usual ‘big’ anniversaries. They hold 3-4 meetings a year and the group has over 120 members whose time at St Mary’s covers the late 60s to the mid 70s. They are looking to recruit new members from that period (or close by).
The Liverpool Simmarian Club has around 40 members on its books comprising graduates from 1944 through to 1997. We continue to meet on the last Thursday of each month at The West Lancashire Golf Club in Blundellsands. We celebrate two major functions each year; the Mass for deceased members and the University Feast Day.
If any Simmarians are interested in joining the Liverpool Simmarian Club then please contact Geoff Farrell, email@example.com
