Events and reunions

St Mary’s Alumni Weekend: Friday 19th June – Sunday 21st June 2020

We are delighted to announce the introduction of the St Mary’s Annual Alumni Weekend, when the whole campus, including accommodation, will be set aside for St Mary’s alumni, to reconnect with friends and celebrate their time at St Mary’s.

The first Alumni Weekend will take place on Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June 2020, when we will celebrate 170 years of St Mary’s.  All alumni are invited to attend the weekend, and there will be special events within the weekend for those celebrating significant anniversaries e.g. 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50+ years since graduation.  We plan to organise a range of other activities too, such as opportunities to tour the University, sports fixtures and lectures, and there will be Mass on the Sunday.

We look forward to welcoming you back to St Mary’s, so please put the date in your diary.

Alumni Led Reunions

30th reunion: Saturday 23rd November 2019

Simms ’89 intake, the Waldegrave Drawing Room is booked! Come and catch up with your friends from 30 years ago!  The dress code for the evening is smart, and there will be food, a DJ and a “chill out”/conversation/catch-up room.

For more information please visit the event Facebook page.

45th anniversary gathering: Friday 12th June - Sunday 14th June 2020

Were you at St Mary’s at any point between September 1970 and September 1978?

Every 5 years since 1985 Simms Alumni have held a reunion and they would like to extend the invitation to everyone who studied at St Mary’s at that time.

There will be an informal get together on the Friday night, a buffet supper in The Waldegrave Ballroom on Saturday evening, and Mass in the Chapel on the Sunday followed by tea and coffee. Single en suite rooms on campus and twin rooms on Waldegrave Park Road will be available to book nearer the time.

For more information from the reunion organisers please email alumni@stmarys.ac.uk.

If you are holding a reunion off campus, we would love to hear about it and help to publicise it.
