Even though most applications are received by the 15th January UCAS deadline, every year a number of students apply after this date for a variety of reasons. 

Perhaps you missed the UCAS deadline or changed your mind about where/what you want to study. Maybe you haven't received the offers you were hoping for. 

Regardless of your circumstances, it's not too late for you to apply to begin an undergraduate degree at St Mary's University in September 2019.

Three ways to apply to St Mary’s after 15th January 

1. UCAS Apply

If you if haven’t submitted a UCAS application yet or not used all 5 choices on your UCAS application, you can use the UCAS Apply service.

Our institution name is SMARY and institution code is S64.Find the UCAS Code for each course you apply for at the top of each course page.

2. UCAS Extra

If you’ve already applied through UCAS and used all five of your choices, you may be able to apply to us through UCAS Extra.  If UCAS Extra is available to you, it will show when you track your application on UCAS. This process is available from 25th February to 4th July and it’s free to use. 

Extra is useful if you’ve changed your mind since you submitted your UCAS application or if you didn’t get the offers you wanted.

3.  Apply directly to St Mary's

Already have your results? Our Record of Prior Acceptance (RPA) form allows you to apply directly to the university.

You can apply using our RPA form if you have done the following:

  • Have not previously applied through UCAS
  • Have got all your results
  • Want to apply direct to St Mary’s only
  • Have spoken to our admissions team and received an unconditional offer:

There’s no cost to you to apply this way; we cover any application fees. To begin your RPA application, make sure to get in contact with our Admissions team as soon as possible.


International applicants

If you are applying from outside the European Union you can apply directly to St Mary's via our International Undergraduate application form.


Part-time applicants

If you want to study at St Mary's as a part-time undergraduate student you will need to apply directly to us, rather than through UCAS.

The Students’ Union (SU), whilst being there to support you, is also on hand to offer an exciting social life both on and off campus. The SU organises all kinds of entertainment, from weekly events through to major annual occasions such as   Welcome Fortnight, RAG week and Summer Ball.

We also have an excellent reputation for sport, with numerous successes every year. Most recently 22 St Mary’s athletes competed at the   Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic games, collecting a total of nine medals.

Life in London

We are located in a very green area of South West London, with both Bushy Park and Richmond Park a short bus ride away. 

There are several shops and restaurants in within walking distance in Twickenham and Teddington, plus plenty more shops, cinemas, nightclubs and more in the nearby towns of Richmond and Kingston

Twickenham is also the home of England rugby. The national team play at the nearby Twickenham Stadium and Premiership team Harlequins at The Twickenham Stoop. 

Jumping on a train at Strawberry Hill Station (a five minute walk from campus) will get you to London Waterloo and into the centre of a capital city with endless possibilities!
