Book now Former British diplomat and current President of Trinity College, Sir Ivor Roberts, will deliver his lecture entitled 'Dining with War Criminals and On-the-Runs: 'Dirty Hands' in Diplomacy'. This lecture focuses more narrowly on the extent to which diplomats (as opposed to princes or politicians) should, in the interests of peace, be willing to bypass ordinary morality and treat with those who have carried out major crimes including ethnic cleansing or terrorism. About the Speaker

Sir Ivor Roberts is a former British diplomat who has held a number of senior and ambassadorial posts in the Foreign Office over his career. He is currently President of Trinity College, University of Oxford.
