Location: St Mary's University, Twickenham

A micro enterprise is small, simple and quick to launch, and can be run by anyone.

Are you an individual interested in using your skills to make money and help your community? Will your idea help people in your community to try a new activity, e.g. cooking, baking, gardening or knitting, to help people unlock their potential and try something new? Then this workshop is for you.

The workshop will cover:

  • An overview of what micro enterprise is
  • What the difference is between a micro enterprise and other types of businesses
  • Th benefits of starting a micro enterprise
  • Planning your ideas
  • First steps
  • Where you can receive ongoing support

Ideas for a micro enterprise may include:

Providing services such as teaching cooking from your home, running activities, or providing care and support to individuals, to enable them to live independently at home, live a full life and/or to get around their community.

Book your place

Places are free but booking is essential. Refreshments are provided. Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance and will have access to an ongoing support network.
