Dr John T James (Associate Professor Saint Louis University) supported by Dr Karen Myers, Dr Mark Poussan and Dr Tracy James
Dr John T James is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education and the Director of the Institute for Catholic Education at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Dr James has 28 years of experience in Catholic education and teaches human resources, research topics and Catholic educational seminar at the doctoral level. He has spoken both nationally and internationally, most recently at the Biennial Convention of Catholic Education Business Administrators in Melborne, Australia. He has contributed to books on Catholic education including the Encyclopedia of Catholic Education.
These two keynote lectures will be supported by the international Allies for inclusion: The Ability Exhibit©, a travelling exhibit designed to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through respect for others, comfort during interactions, and awareness of disability issues. Using a multimedia approach to demonstrate respect, comfort and awareness, the exhibit offers suggestions for becoming disability allies and educators.
