Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide: Lessons from Belgium
Location: Senior Common Room, St Mary's University
How can one know what effects assisted suicide and euthanasia might have if legalised in the UK? Looking at what has happened in other European countries is one way of finding out and this latest book in the acclaimed Cambridge University Press Bioethics and Law series explores what has happened in Belgium since 2002 when the law changed there.
There will be short presentations by two of the book’s editors, Profs David Albert Jones and Calum MacKellar, and one of the authors, Dr Trevor Stammers, followed by panel questions and answers.
