Location: St Mary’s University, Waldegrave Road, Twickenham

For the first time in its history, St Mary's University, Twickenham will host the annual conference of the British New Testament Society.

This annual conference features around 180 scholars and students from the UK and abroad for two days of research presentation and is the leading venue for critical scholarship of the New Testament and early Christianity in the United Kingdom.  The students and scholars of St Mary's University, and particularly the Centre for the Social-Scientific Study of the Bible, are honoured to host this prestigious event.

The British New Testament Society seeks to promote research of the New Testament and related writings. It sponsors an annual conference for professional biblical scholars and PhD students.

Rates

  • £174.80: 2-day conference with ensuite accommodation
  • £159.80: 2-day conference with shared bathroom accommodation
  • £78.00: 2-day non-residential conference

The conference starts with dinner on Thursday evening. The rates include:

  • Refreshment tea and coffee breaks during the conference
  • Accommodation on Thursday and Friday night in single bedroom accommodation with shared bathroom facilities
  • Breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning
  • Lunch on Friday and Saturday
  • Dinner on Thursday and Friday
  • Wine receptions on Thursday and Friday evening

Pre-night arrivals

Guests are welcome to arrive on campus from Tuesday 4th September. Bed and breakfast is £47.50 per night for ensuite accommodation and £42.50 and shared bathroom accommodation.
