Prof Patricia Casey, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Dublin and Visiting Professor at the Centre for Bioethics and Emerging Technologies (CBET) at St Mary’s University, will deliver a lecture entitled 'Religion, Spirituality and Psychological Wellbeing.'

Is the relationship between religious faith and mental health a positive or negative one? Does the same relationship apply across all faiths and cultures? Where does spirituality, as distinct from religious practice, fit in?

This lecture will explore these and other aspects of the wealth of research on this topic over the past few decades.
