Challenges of Endurance and Getting Your Nutrition Right

Challenges of endurance performance can be psychological, as there are physical, physiological, and nutrition related.

To highlight the various areas of sport science in the Faculty of Sport, Health and Applied Science, we offer participants the opportunity to sign up to the workshop ‘Challenges of endurance: Getting your nutrition right’.

Ana Anton-Solanas, programme director for Applied Sports Nutrition will share practical case studies of working with endurance athletes after which there will be an opportunity to learn more about how to plan for nutrition and follow your nutrition plan.

Registration

This workshop is free to attend, but attendees will need to book their place online.

About the speaker

Ana is a Sports Dietitian and Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist and has worked with a range of international and elite athletes across a range of sports, as well as extreme explorers and ultra-endurance competitors for the past five years.

Before joining St Mary’s University in late 2017, she worked as a Senior Scientist & Dietitian at the Human Performance Lab (GSK) in Brentford and as a Nutritionist in the Nutrition and Medical Affairs team at GSK Consumer Healthcare.
