As the West looks to the Asian economies for lessons in how to manage a pandemic, some are starting to ask whether this marks the end of Western domination and the resurgence of Asia in world affairs and the global economy.
We have invited St Mary's Business School Advisory Board member, Sir Martin Donnelly, (former Permanent Secretary of the Department of International Trade) to debate with Will Hutton, former Editor of the Observer and author of 'The Writing On The Wall: China And The West In The 21st Century' to give their perspectives.
The webinar will be moderated by Prof Syed Kamall, Professor of International Relations and Politics at St Mary's. From 2013-14 he served as leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists in the European Parliament, and he served as an MEP for London from 2005-19.
