Dr Sara Dahlen examines the Trans Healthcare ethical advice from the General Medical Council (GMC).
Speaker: Dr Sara Dahlen, Winner of the 2020 Sydney Selwyn Prize from the Society of Apothecaries.
Sara Dahlen competed her BSc in Pharmacology at UCL and graduated with a medical degree from Barts and the London. She worked as a junior doctor in hospitals around East London before stepping back from clinical practice for health reasons. Sara researched the ethics of sex and gender identity in medical records as part of the dissertation for the course in the Ethics and Philosophy of Medicine with the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Bioethics and Society at King’s College London (and swimming in the Ladies' Pond on Hampstead Heath as often as she can).
