St Mary’s University Joseph Conrad Lecture Series, in collaboration with the Joseph Conrad Society (UK), presents Reading Conrad in the Modern World.

Prof Robert Hampson, Chair of the Joseph Conrad Society UK, will deliver the opening paper to this series with his lecture, ‘Conrad and Africa’ in which he explores why Conrad’s literature remains important and relevant in the modern world.

Subsequent lectures will take place on the first Saturday of each month until July 2022.


Registration

Prof Hampson’s lecture will be delivered via Zoom. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. To log in to the Zoom meeting, you will need to download the Zoom app on your computer.
