Welcome from the Provost

At the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law, Education and Theology, we believe in the transformative power of knowledge and creativity to shape a better future. Our vibrant academic community is united by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and positive social impact.

Our faculty comprises three established schools, each offering outstanding opportunities for learning, research, and professional growth:

  • School of Business and Law: We are a diverse community with strong local roots and global connections. Our expertise spans business, marketing, communications, law, criminology, and politics. We offer a broad portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degrees designed to prepare you for an evolving workplace. Teaching is practice-led, with industry experts bringing current experience into the classroom. Our internationally recognised research influences social policy and drives meaningful change.

  • School of Education: For those passionate about shaping the future through education, this is the place to be. Rated as outstanding for our Primary and Secondary Initial Teacher Training programmes, we offer an excellent portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship programmes, alongside professional development opportunities for educators. With strong partnerships across more than 500 schools and external organisations, our students gain invaluable real-world experience. Our research—spanning Catholic Education, Teacher Wellbeing, Social Justice, and Pedagogy—underpins vocationally relevant and professionally accredited programmes.

  •  School of Arts and Theology: Home to Humanities, Film, Acting, and Theology, this school blends academic excellence with creative practice. Our expert staff bring both research and industry insight to their teaching, ensuring a rich and informed learning experience. We pride ourselves on a supportive and personalised approach that nurtures individual talent. Students benefit from work placements, internships, and collaborations with arts and heritage organisations across London. We celebrate our alumni who have gone on to excel in music, film, publishing, and other creative industries.
