Undergraduate academic requirements
Applicants with the General Secondary Education Certificate are required to complete an International Foundation programme, IB or A Levels prior to being admitted to an Undergraduate course at St Mary’s University.
Students who have successfully completed the first year at a recognised University may be exempt from completing the International Foundation programme.
Postgraduate academic requirements
A Master’s degree with from an Ethiopian university.

English language requirements
If English is not your first language you will be required to evidence your English language ability required for academic study. Please see our English Language Requirements page for our standard entry requirements.
Ethiopian students who are offered a place to study at St Mary’s will automatically be considered for one of St Mary's International Student Scholarships – these are available to new, full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students in any subject area.
For undergraduate applicants, the scholarship is worth up-to £3000 off the cost of your first year tuition fee. For postgraduate applicants the scholarship is worth up-to £3000 off the total cost of your tuition fee.
