University College Offers Irish Studies Lectures to the Public

St Mary's University College, Twickenham, is providing Irish studies classes to the public this semester

Members of the public interested in learning more about Irish history and culture, are being invited to join a series of lectures at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham. Starting from Tuesday 22nd January, St Mary’s is offering members of the public the chance to join lectures exploring Irish Literature and Drama, Religion in Ireland, and the Irish Language. The classes will run until May, offering the opportunity for members of the public to find out more about Irish culture and Irish Studies as a subject whilst experiencing university education. Irish Literature and Drama will run on Tuesdays from 4-6pm and Religion in Ireland from 10am-12pm on Thursdays and cost around £266.16. The Irish Language classes are being offered free of charge courtesy of funding from the Irish Government and will run on Fridays from 10am-12pm for beginners and Tuesdays from 1-3pm for intermediates.
