St Mary’s Holds Summer Graduation Ceremonies

This week saw more than 4,000 students, staff and guests attend ceremonies at Westminster Cathedral for St Mary’s University College’s 2013 graduation.

This week saw more than 4,000 students, staff and guests attend ceremonies at Westminster Cathedral in London for St Mary’s University College’s 2013 summer graduation. Three ceremonies were held over the course of the day, where students were awarded with a range of undergraduate and postgraduate awards. Guests were then invited to a garden party celebration on the historic grounds at St Mary’s Strawberry Hill campus. The highlight of the academic year, St Mary’s summer graduation is the culmination of several years hard work for students and gives them the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, as well as thanking friends and family for their support. St Mary’s Vice Principal (Students and External Relations) Dr Claire Taylor said, “Graduation is always a fantastic event and a day to remember for our students and their families. Our graduating students will continue to be part of the St Mary's community as alumni and we look forward to keeping in touch with them as they start the next new phase in their lives.” Photos from the day will be posted on the St Mary’s Facebook page and a recap of events is available on Storify.
