Concerns of the market for human eggs in mitochondrial replacement research have been raised in the current issue of The New Bioethics (Maney Publishing), which is edited by academics from the Centre for Bioethics and Emerging Technologies (CBET) at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham. The academic journal was re-launched this September and is now edited by St Mary’s Programme Director in Bioethics and Medical Law Dr Trevor Stammers and co-edited by Matthew James, part of the core CBET team.
