St Mary's Climbs Student Satisfaction Table

According to data St Mary’s University, Twickenham has climbed the 2014 national league table for student satisfaction.

According to data released today (Tuesday 12th August) from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), St Mary’s University, Twickenham has climbed the 2014 national league table for student satisfaction. According to data from the 2014 National Student Survey (NSS) 86 per cent of students are satisfied with the University. The NSS is conducted annually across all publicly funded Higher Education Institutions in the UK and asks final year undergraduate students to provide feedback on various aspects of their learning experience. The University has seen an improvement in student satisfaction rates across each of the seven categories of the survey, whilst exceeding the sector average in several areas including teaching on the course, organisation and management, and personal development. St Mary’s Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr Claire Taylor said, “This year’s NSS results confirm that our students continue to rate highly what we offer at St Mary’s. Students are particularly satisfied with the quality of teaching on their course – an area that continues to be a real strength for the University.” Other subject areas at St Mary's which also scored highly include: BA Education and Social Science - 100% BA Media Arts - 85% BSc Psychology - 86% BSc Sports Rehabilitation - 86% BSc Sport Science - 85% (last year 94%)
