Image: 11 December 2014 SHARE On 27th November staff and students at St Mary’s University, Twickenham hosted a special dinner party to mark the national Thanksgiving holiday celebrated in America and Canada. Those who attended included current international students at St Mary’s, visiting students from partner universities in the United States and St Mary’s alumni who had spent a semester abroad. A small group of students from the New York and London-based Mountbatten Institute, who study on St Mary’s Postgraduate International Business Practice programme, also joined the dinner. To begin the evening’s proceedings the students gathered at the American-themed SU Bar to get to know one another over drinks and a few games of pool, before making their way to the University’s luxurious Waldegrave Drawing Room for a three-course meal with all the trimmings.
