St Mary’s University, Twickenham will host a Law Summer School for Year 12 pupils in June 2015. The two-day event will give pupils the chance to find out more about law and get taste of university life. On the first day students will be able to take a campus tour with St Mary’s Student Ambassadors, before an Introduction to Law and Politics and Law lecture, which will explain the basic principals of a criminal offence in legal terms. The second day will begin with a role-playing session in which the pupils will enact a mock trial. The Law Summer School will include an Applying for University session before ending with a special Sports Law workshop, which will explore all of the legal complications that a visit to a Premier League football match can entail in an interactive and fun way.
