Water is important for many of the body’s processes, such as aiding digestion and blood flow, nourishing and protecting the brain, keeping the body’s temperature normal and removing waste from the body. Lot of people don’t drink enough water on a daily basis, so here are some top tips to help out: Keep a water bottle on your desk or in your bag at all times Cook and eat hydrating meals – see our infographic chart for the fruits and vegetables that have the highest water content Drink the things you like; coffee, tea, water, fruit juice – it all counts towards increasing your fluid Download an app to your smartphone that allows you to track your water intake, to give you an idea of what you drink on an average day If you don’t like drinking plain water, try infusing it with fruit for a healthy alternative – try citrus fruits, berries or kiwi for a delicious flavour.
