St Mary's to host Coffee and Chat Sessions for Part-Time PGCE Primary

Teacher with students

The PGCE Primary programme at St Mary’s University, Twickenham will be hosting two Coffee and Chat sessions in February to answer questions about the part-time pathway.

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted and with 97% of graduates employed within six months, the PGCE Primary programme at St Mary’s gives students the skills and experience necessary to succeed as a primary teacher. Students attend subject specific sessions designed to develop awareness and understanding of general professional issues, the content of the National Curriculum, and practical issues such as lesson planning and assessments.

The 18-month part-time pathway allows students the flexibility to balance their career, family, or domestic commitments whilst studying to become a teacher. If you are interested in the part-time PGCE Primary, the Coffee and Chat events are a great opportunity to find out more about school placements, the course, costs, and the programme timetable.

They are being held on Tuesday 16th February 10am-12pm and Thursday 25th February 1.30-3pm in the Dol.cHe Vita Café on the University’s Strawberry Hill campus. To find out more about the events, please contact Susan Taylor at susan.taylor@stmarys.ac.uk.
