St Mary's Profiled by Rome Reports for World Congress of Catholic Education

St Mary’s University, Twickenham was recently profiled for two videos produced by the TV news agency, Rome Reports. The videos contain interviews with St Mary’s Chair of Governors, Bishop Richard Moth and Vice-Chancellor Francis Campbell. The videos profile St Mary’s as a global institution and identify the key challenges for Catholic education in the 21st Century and how does a Catholic University operate. Bishop Richard Moth explained the importance of St Mary’s working with Catholic universities throughout the world, stating, "Because we're Catholic, we link with the Catholic universities of the world. We can look beyond the shores of England and Wales. We can look to our brother and sister Catholic institutions right across the globe. And so that brings something special to tertiary education in England which I think we have to offer.” St Mary’s participation in the global network of Catholic universities was highlighted by Vice-Chancellor Francis Campbell when stating, "There is nothing that can show you that university, and that universalism, more than being in this very intercultural mix, but joined by faith and a commitment to faith in a reasoned setting. Rome Reports is an independent international TV news agency based in Rome, Italy, profiled St Mary’s during the University’s recent sponsorship of the World Congress of Catholic Education.
