26 July 2016 SHARE The Law programmes at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, celebrated another very successful year with the graduation of both its LLB Law and Business Law students. On a sunny summer’s day at Westminster Cathedral and on the University’s Strawberry Hill campus, the Law programmes welcomed local law firms to present prizes to their graduates. Maja Gorecki won the Blaser Mills Solicitors Prize for a First Class Honours degree and the highest overall mark on the BA Business Law with Business Management. Harry Hopkins meanwhile won the Morrisons Solicitors Prize for a First Class Honours degree and the highest overall mark on the LLB Law degree and also the Centre for Law and Culture Research Prize for the highest mark in the Law Research Project Bernadette Powell won the Nardell Prize for Special Achievement, which recognises resilience and determination in completing the degree. Speaking of the graduates Director of the Law programmes Vanessa Beaver said, “As small and friendly programmes where each student is known very well by the teaching team, we were particularly sad to see them go but delighted to hear of the many exciting opportunities being pursued after graduation. We will miss you our 2016 wonderful graduates, our warmest congratulations once again and please keep in touch!” SHARE
