We offer a range of Business degrees, including:

Law

As well as  our Law LLB degree, we also offer a specialist Law with Criminology LLB programme.

We also offer Business Law as a joint honours programme that can be combined with Business Management or History.

Education Studies

Do you aspire to work with children and young people? Whether working in teaching, Special Educational Needs and Disability, social work, educational policy or welfare, it begins with a degree in Education Studies.


Education (Work-Based Routes)

We offer foundation degrees in Education in Context and Early Years Education. Both programmes are work-based and have undergraduate top-up degrees, including a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) route.


Primary Education with QTS

This course combines a degree with a qualification to teach (QTS). Our Primary Initial Teacher Education courses are judged by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’.

Nutrition

Our Nutrition degree is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN). Studying an AfN-accredited degree programme will help you stand out in the job market and puts you at an advantage when compared to graduates coming from non-accredited courses.


Sport and Exercise Nutrition

The impact of tailored, evidence-driven sports nutrition advice is well recognised for everyone, whether running 5K for the first time or competing at the Olympics.


Sport and Exercise Science

St Mary’s has a long tradition of excellence in sport-related degrees. Our Sport and Exercise Science degree is endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Scientists (BASES) and many staff are active professional members of BASES.


Sport Psychology

Our BSc Sport Psychology programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Graduation through the accredited route means that you will be eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership with the BPS.


Sport Rehabilitation

A practical and vocational programme - professionally accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitatiors and Trainers (BASRaT) - providing you with the skills required to work in sports and healthcare settings.


Sports Coaching (foundation degree)

This two-year foundation degree course is aimed at individuals who are currently working or gaining experience within the Sports Coaching industry, or those looking to become a sports coach whilst studying.


Sports Coaching Science

A Sports Coaching Science degree, alongside governing body qualifications, will provide a foundation for a career in performance coaching.


Sports Management

Sports Management is a practical degree that will prepare you academically and professionally to hit the ground running in the sports and leisure industries.


Strength and Conditioning Science

St Mary's is internationally recognised as the front-runner for strength and conditioning education. The course is delivered in a 5,000 square-foot Performance Education Centre, providing you with the opportunity to practice your skills in a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facility.

Finance and funding

Our Student Funding team are here to provide you with assistance in all matters to do with your finances, from liaising with Student Finance England to solving problems concerning financial hardship.
