The Stage are offering two tuition fee scholarships for the Acting BA (Hons) degree programme.
The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for three years of study.
We are looking for talented applicants who know that they want to be an actor and would benefit from the training programme.
Entry criteria
All applicants for Acting BA (Hons) at St Mary's are welcome to apply for the scholarship, including UK and international students.
All applicants will need to complete an interview and audition:
- The interview will explore your reasons for applying and ambitions for the future
- The audition includes two speeches (each 2-3 minutes in length) that demonstrate your range and contrast

The deadline to apply for the Stage Acting scholarships has now passed.

The deadline to apply is Friday 6th May. An announcement of who will be receiving the scholarships will be made as part of the Drama St Mary's Spring Showcases at the Soho Theatre.
Please note that any final offer of a scholarship will be subject to you accepting St Mary’s University as your first choice institution and enrolling in September 2022. If you decide to defer your start date then you will forfeit the scholarship although you will still be able to apply for any scholarships or bursaries that are available for September 2023 intake.
The scholarship will cover tuition fees for three years of study on the BA Acting programme at St Mary’s University and to receive the award for year 2 and year 3 you must successfully complete and pass the previous year of study.
Scholarship winners must be prepared to undertake publicity and promotion work for the University. The Stage will track and follow you throughout your three years of study at St Mary’s University. Promotional activities may include providing testimonials or content for social media and other marketing activities, and participating at University Open Days or other promotional events (in-person or virtually), subject to class timetabling and availability.
The university reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship at any time should you behave in a manner that brings either yourself, or the university, into disrepute, or you are subject to any academic or non-academic misconduct procedures.
