The Business Practice for Complementary Therapies (ITEC) course is delivered by therapists who are experienced in running their own businesses. The course is blended learning and includes a workbook followed by a one-day workshop. The course is designed for all therapists including complementary, beauty, hairdressing as well as counsellors and practitioners, to prepare a business plan for a potential complementary therapy practice.

The full cost is £185. The deposit cost is £50.
Whilst enrolled upon the course you will write your own business plan, which will include the following information:
- Mission statement
- Market research
- Competitor analysis
- Corporate image and design
- Products, services and prices
- Financial planning
- Legal requirements
- Marketing and communication

To enrol on this course you must be 18-years-old or over. It is recommended that learners should have achieved a level of education equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A*-C however exemptions may be made for adult returners with relevant experience.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded a record of achievement, unless taken as part of a level 3 qualification, when it will be listed on your certificate/diploma.
