The Prediction of Childhood Overweight/Obesity Based on Parental Lifestyle and Genetic Parameters

In order to have a greater understanding of the health of our children, St Mary’s University Nutrition department is working to build a more in depth picture of the risk factors that may be leading to childhood overweight/obesity. This research trial is designed in line with the NHS action plan to prevent rather than treat, endeavouring to collect lifestyle and genetic information to build a predictive tool for childhood obesity.

All information is collected online with the option of recorded delivery post. On completion of the trial participants will receive feedback on the UK wide results.
