Carrie is a registered chiropractor, graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of South Wales in 2013. Following graduation, she worked in private practice and became part of the senior management team with British Skeleton.
Carrie completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Sports Science and Physical Education at Loughborough University in 2000. She spent some additional time there as a Research Assistant, before joining UK Sport where she worked in a variety of roles, including Project Manager within the Research and Innovation Team.
Alongside this, Carrie studied with the London School of Sports Massage and became a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist in 2006. Carrie went on to work with British Skeleton, leading their Talent Identification and Development programme and travelling with the World Class Development Squad, providing soft tissue therapy to the athletes competing on the international circuit.
Carrie is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, Royal College of Chiropractors and the Sports Massage Association.
