Catherine first studied at Warwick University graduating with a BSc (honours) degree in Biomedical Science. She then went on to study at St Mary's University graduating with an MSc in Human Nutrition. After this, Catherine joined St Mary's as a PhD student.
Catherine's PhD is focused on childhood obesity and the lifestyle and genetic factors associated, with the aim of building a predictive tool in line with the NHS action plan to prevent rather than treat.
She also contributes to teaching within Nutrition department.
