Christine Sellwood joined the primary English team at St Mary’s in September 2013. She is currently teaching on the undergraduate programme. Christine holds a B.Ed. (Hons), a diploma in Drama in Education (Dip. RSA) and has recently obtained a postgraduate certificate in higher education (PGCHE). She is now working towards a diploma in higher education which leads to a Master's in academic practice. Christine is a fellow of The Higher Education Academy.
Christine was a primary school teacher for many years before becoming a lecturer. During her time in school she held various senior positions including acting deputy head and key stage coordinator. Christine’s school based research interest was in positive behaviour management.
