Programme Director - PGCE Primary
Judith Cullen is Programme Director for PGCE Primary within the Education, Theology and Leadership department at St Mary's University. She teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate core English programmes as well as Master's level modules relating to reflective practice.
She worked previously as a teacher in Outer and Inner London primary schools where she specialized in developing children’s literacy.
Judith currently has responsibility for admissions to the Primary PGCE fulltime and part time courses.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Humanities, a PGCE (Primary), an MA in Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and is currently working towards achieving a Professional Doctorate.

With other members of the Primary English team at St Mary’s, she has recently worked to produce the Learning Matters publication, ‘Primary English Across the Curriculum’.
