Nigel has over twenty years experience in maths education. His degree at City of London Polytechnic was followed by PGCE at Cardiff University and an MSc in Mathematical Computation at Queen Mary College, University of London.
After a short time in industry programming process control algorithms he has worked in secondary education as a teacher, Subject Leader, AHT and Local Authority consultant, and worked with the National Strategies to develop projects including Parent’s Maths Workshops and the pedagogy of ICT to deliver ‘hard-to-teach’ topics .
He delivers masterclasses to G&T pupils in KS 2 & 3 and is an active member of the ATM and MA. He is passionate about good food and choral singing.
