Advent Advocacy have a longstanding reputation for providing quality, bespoke advocacy services that focus on achieving the best outcomes for students.
We are a nationwide service and specialise in providing a locally centred advocacy. Our specialised Student Advocates have years of experience working with a diverse range of students.
We are not an alternative to professional clinical support, but unlike other student support programmes, we are independent from the university and on hand to liaise on behalf of students.

What does your Independent Student Advocate do?
A student advocate is an extra safeguard introduced to ensure that students have access to an extra independent body to support with difficulties and decisions that are affecting their student life.
We will be visiting once a week to support students with matters related to their Mental Health, Meetings, Finances, Academic Matters, Social/Cultural Matters, and Complaints.
We can help support with a variety of concerns. Whilst we are independent from the university, we work very closely with the wellbeing services department and sometimes receive referrals through them.
