It's can be great to start developing new skills and gaining experience right from the start of of your university experience.

These experiences will help you gain employabilty skills - planning, organising, customer care, teamwork and communication.

They will also give you valuable opportunties to explore a variety of careers and interests.

Ways to Get Active and Involved 

Student Clubs and Societies 

Belonging to either a club or society is the perfect way to make new friends and try new activities. Jobs outside the University

Short Courses

Spot offers you opportunities to prove your teamwork and leadership skills or provide evid​ence of your determination to achieve goals. You may have the chance to gain new qualifications such as coaching certificates or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
