The Chaplain is always willing to prepare students and members of staff to be baptised, confirmed or received into the Catholic Church. If interested please contact the Chaplaincy to arrange a meeting.

The Chapel is available for the Catholic weddings of present and former students and members of staff. Please contact the Chaplain to arrange a meeting to discuss your request. The Chaplain must seek permission from the Vice-Chancellor and should that be given to complete the necessary paperwork for the Civil authorities and the Church.

Day Retreats

The Chaplaincy arrange two day retreats a year, one during Advent, the other in Lent. These are opportunities to reflect on our faith in the light of the forthcoming religious Solemnities, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter. Details of times and places will be announced in the newsletter

Week of guided prayer

Each year, normally in February, the Chaplaincy arranges the Annual Week of Guided Prayer. This is a five-day retreat that takes place around your study timetable and involves meeting a prayer guide each day to assist you in your dialogue with God and reflection on your life. Details about dates and booking procedures will be announced in the newsletter and media platforms.
