Chartered Management Institute (CMI)

CMI is a UK-based organisation that supports managers with ongoing professional development and guidance. They offer accreditation using the National Qualification Framework, from level 2 for aspiring managers, to level 8 for C-level managers. 

CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership (subject to CMI moderation)

On successful completion of the degree you will be awarded the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. The Diploma is awarded for successfully completing the following core modules:

  • Introduction to Management Theory (Year one)
  • Financial Decision Making (Year one)
  • Contemporary Marketing Practice (Year one)
  • Fundamentals of Accounting (Year two)
  • Research Project/Dissertation (Year three) 

Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA)

CIMA is a UK body that supports management accountants with professional development and guidance. They provide a range of qualifications in accounting, including a Certificate in Business Accounting and professional qualifications at Operational, Management and Strategic level.

CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting

On successful completion of our programme you can claim exemptions from CIMA’s Certificate in Business Accounting (Certificate Level).

Exemption means you will not need further assessment on a similar topic to achieve the professional qualification. These apply on attainment of the following core and optional modules:

  • Introduction to Management Theory (Core, year one)
  • Financial Decision Making (Core, year one)
  • Contemporary Business Issues (Core, year one)
  • Fundamentals of Accounting (Core, year two)
  • Management Accounting (Option, year two)
  • Business Law (Option, year two)

Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting (CIPFA)

CIPFA is a UK-based institute for accountancy professionals in public services. They provide education and training in accountancy and financial management.

CIPFA Professional Accountancy Qualification

On successful completion of our programme you can claim exemptions at two levels of CIPFA Professional Accountancy Qualifications. These apply after successfully completing the following core and optional modules:

Professional Certificate:

  • Fundamentals of Accounting (Core, year two)
  • Management Accounting (Option, year two)
  • International Financial Reporting (Option, year three)

Professional Diploma:

  • Business Law (Option, year two)
  • Corporate Finance (Option, year two)
  • Leadership in Organisations (Option, year two)
  • Management of Organisational Change (Option, year three)
