The MRS is the code-holding body within the UK for ethical standards in market and social research. All centres which are awarded MRS-accredited status are required to abide by both the standards and the values embodied in the MRS’s Code of Conduct.
St Mary’s university is an Accredited MRS Centre and students recruited onto the course meet or exceed the minimum entry requirements for the MRS qualification.
As an MRS Accredited Centre, St Mary’s provides an appropriate programme of support to enable students to meet the learning outcomes of the qualification.
The qualifying modules are:
- COM4003: Consumer, Shopper and Audience Behaviour
- MGT5028: Marketing Strategy and Implementation
- MGT5029: Contemporary Marketing Practice
- COM5005: Research Methods
- MGT5030: Research Methods in Business and Management
Students can choose from any of the above modules to be exempt from taking the MRS Certificate syllabus requirements and assessment.
