Please note: BA Film is being replaced for September 2024 with two new exciting programmes, BA Film Studies and BA Filmmaking. These are going through a final approval process and we hope to be able to start accepting applications in mid-December 2023. In the meantime, you can apply for BA Film (the entry requirements for all three programmes are the same) and if we can make you an offer we will contact you in December to find out which of the new programmes you would like to swap over to.

Integrate filmmaking, acting, and live production with our practical film course. You will learn in an environment that fosters creativity, technical excellence, and personal wellbeing.

  • cinema history
  • digital production
  • motion graphics
  • screenwriting
  • sound, lighting, and costume
  • documentary production
  • horror, sci-fi, and fantasy

We will make you an offer if you are within the tariff band range and you meet subject-specific requirements (where applicable).

For undergraduate programmes we will take into account subjects studied at Level 3, your GCSEs (or equivalent) profile, relevant non-academic achievements outlined in your personal statement, references, and your motivation for study.
