At St Mary’s, we offer a variety of accommodation options tailored to you and your requirements. Whether you're an undergraduate, international student, School of Medicine, or postgraduate, we have housing designed for your needs.

How to apply and secure your place 

We guarantee a place in University accommodation to all new, eligible first-year undergraduate applicants who have accepted St Mary’s as their firm choice and applied for accommodation by midday (UK time) on Friday 5 June 2026. 

If you applied via UCAS 

If you applied through UCAS, you will need to make St Mary’s your Firm choice through your UCAS account. 

Once you have made St Mary’s your firm choice, you will automatically be invited to apply for accommodation. 

If you applied directly

If you applied directly to St Mary’s, including through the international applicant portal, you will need to accept your offer through your course applicant portal. 

To do this: 

  1. Log in to your Applicant Portal  
  2. Select ‘Respond to Offer’  
  3. Choose ‘Accept Offer’  
  4. Click ‘Confirm’  

Once you have accepted your offer, you will automatically be invited to apply for accommodation. 

What happens next 

  1. Check your eligibility and explore your accommodation options  
  2. Submit your accommodation application  
  3. Receive your accommodation offer and confirm your booking  
  4. Get ready to move in

What if you need to live off-campus? 

While we recommend staying on campus for the best experience, we understand some students may need alternative options. Our Accommodation Service is here to help you find safe, student-friendly housing nearby.
