CSM: a summer camp in London for teens

Learn English, experience London, and meet friends from around the world.

The London summer camp where teenagers thrive

Camp St Mary's London, or CSM for short, is a summer camp for teenagers aged 12–17, based on the St Mary's University campus in southwest London.

At CSM, teens from around the world come together for an exciting and immersive summer camp experience, where they can learn English, explore British culture, and, above all, make lifelong friends.

Our all-inclusive summer camp is in one of London's safest boroughs, Richmond upon Thames, set among green open spaces and the historic Strawberry Hill House, just a short walk from the River Thames. Accommodation, classrooms and sports facilities are on site, and city adventures are within easy reach.

Why choose Camp St Mary’s London?

Your teen is in safe hands

St Mary's University sits in Richmond upon Thames, consistently ranked among London's safest boroughs. All staff are background-checked, students are accompanied on off-site excursions, and a dedicated Welfare Manager and house parents are on site.

Improve English in a real-life setting

By learning English in London, teenagers are fully immersed in the language and the culture around them, building confidence and transferable skills for school, exams, and life beyond the classroom.

An action-packed activities programme

Full-day excursions to London's landmarks give students real cultural insight, lifelong memories, and plenty of moments to share with friends and family back home. Back on campus, evening activities make the most of the sports facilities and social spaces.

Learn English in London, UK

Our summer camp English course blends language learning with life skills and real-world experiences.

There are 30 hours of lessons per two weeks, with experienced and qualified English language teachers. Our classes are small with an average of 16 students, and we cater for a range of levels from CEFR A2 to C2. Lessons connect directly to excursions and activities, making English practical, relevant, and fun.

We're proud to be provisionally accredited by the British Council, and we're members of English UK.

  • Students enjoy 30 hours of English lessons per two weeks
  • Lessons are full day, alternating with excursions
  • The day is split into six one-hour sessions with 15-minute breaks and a 90-minute lunch break
  • Lessons take place in spacious, bright multi-media classrooms
  • At the end of the camp, each student receives a certificate of attendance and personalised report
