Private student housing
There is a range of privatley operated halls of residence in the nearby town of Kingston, as well as Grosvenor Halls in Twickenham.
Renting in the private sector is often the preferred choice for students. StudentPad is our online private housing database where you can search suitable properties, register for alerts and contact landlords directly. You can also use the messageboard on the StudentPad website or the St Mary’s Find a Flatmate Facebook page to get in touch with other students who may have a space available in their student house or who are looking for private accommodation.
This is one of our most affordable types of accommodation and it has been very popular with previous students. This option offers you the opportunity to stay in a local household close to campus. Staff from the Accommodation Team have visited all of our partnered homestay accommodation to ensure that it is clean, well maintained and with suitable hosts.
