Can I change university in Clearing?

If you have done better than you expected in your exams, or would like to change subject or locations, you can change university in Clearing using Adjustment.

Adjustment starts on Thursday 13th August 2020, which is the same day as A-Level results are released in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Adjustment is available to you for five days (including weekends) after your firm offer becomes “unconditional,” which means you have met the entry requirements for a university and have a place there, and closes on the 31st August.

If you don’t go through Adjustment and would like still like to come to St Mary’s, don’t panic!

Call us on 020 8240 4225 to discuss your options.

Transferring during your degree

If you are already studying a university degree and would like to change to another university, you can apply to transfer. Although this doesn't count as a Clearing application, it is a common time of year for students to consider transferring.  If you would like to transfer to St Mary's from another university you will need to contact our Admissions Team: apply@stmarys.ac.uk.
