Emily has been a teacher for 20 years and has taught in ITE for 5 years. She is an accredited trainer for science initiatives, including STEM Learning and PSQM. She is an associate consultant at Primary STEM Education Consultancy and Primary Committee member of the ASE.
Emily is an accomplished academic at St Mary’s University with extensive expertise in curriculum design and quality assurance. She currently serves as Course Lead for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) non-QTS programme, a course she developed and launched in 2024. Alongside this role, she lecturers on a range of postgraduate, undergraduate, and work-based programmes, including BA Education Studies, BA Education, and the Primary PGCE. Prior to joining St Mary’s, she held the position of Science Lead on the Primary PGCE programme at London South Bank University. Emily is also an experienced postgraduate supervisor and Link Tutor.
