About the Centre
We believe that the arts, culture and heritage can both enrich lives and address pressing contemporary issues. Our research in the Arts and Humanities has supported heritage organisations to develop new and innovative interpretations of their sites and collections, and new ways of engaging with audiences. We have worked with communities to articulate the value of local cultural and heritage activities to policymakers, and we have built international collaborations to share insight and effective practice. Our vision is to empower cultural organisations and communities to shape the stories they tell in creative and engaging ways.
