On Saturday, 2nd October, young adults from 130 countries around the world are coming together as the Economy of Francesco to build an inclusive and sustainable economy that works for all.
Young adults aged 18-35 in London and across the UK are invited to join other like-minded young adults from 130 countries around the world to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. The Economy of Francesco UK Hub, taking place at St Mary Moorfields Church hall from 10:30am to 5:00pm on Saturday 2nd October 2021, will be an opportunity for young adults to make new friends, learn about the challenges faced, share ideas with each other, and participate in the live global broadcast from Assisi, Italy.
Inspired by Pope Francis’s message to give a soul to the economy of tomorrow, the Economy of Francesco is a global movement that has brought together thousands of young adults around the world in sharing ideas for building an economy that is inclusive, human-centred, and cares for the environment. The message of the Economy of Francesco is open to all young people who care to build a better world. The invitation is open to all, regardless of faith background, belief or occupation. At a time when climate change is at the top of the UK agenda as co-hosts of the international climate change conference Cop26 there is no better time to learn about the challenges faced – and build alliances with young adults locally and globally.
