Failing to abide by the values of clean sport or the Anti-Doping Rules could mean severe consequences for your sporting future or career.
Athletes have a responsibility to make sure that anything they put in their body is free of any banned substances. Developing good clean sport habits will help athletes in the future.
You need to fully understand the Anti-Doping Rules, the consequences of not behaving in line with these rules, and the values of clean sport. In this session, delivered by Phil Hurst, UKAD and UKA Clean Athletics Educator you will learn:
- What is Clean Athletics
- The Anti-Doping Rule Violations
- The Consequences of Doping
- The Prohibited List
- Testing Procedures
- Checking Medications
- Food First and Supplements
- Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs)
- Testing Pools
- Protect your Sport.
We extend an open invitation to anyone interested in attending this session. It is free of charge and promises to be beneficial and enlightening not only for EPC athletes, but for members of St Mary’s staff, students and other sports club participants.
