Are you an ECT, PGCE student or School Mentor connected to St Mary's University, interested in supporting the education settings you work in to become more sustainable and take climate action? If so, please join us for this in-person training to become a Climate Ambassador, where you will be trained with the tools and knowledge to drive the creation and delivery of your education setting's climate action plan, with a specific focus on building a 'whole school approach' to climate action.
Regardless of your subject specialism or trainee route, as long as you are committed to supporting your education setting to become more sustainable and take climate action, this training is for you! Particularly if you are interested in becoming your setting's sustainability lead, this training will be an ideal development opportunity.
Location: St Mary's University, Twickenham, London. TW1 4SX
Where we are
The University is easily accessible, being close to Heathrow Airport (a short bus ride away) and Strawberry Hill rail station, for those travelling from Central London. This is an in-person conference, and so provides an opportunity for attendees to network and discuss ideas.
How to book
The booking deadline is Sunday 9th March 2024. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If the event becomes oversubscribed, a waiting list will be maintained.
