Social events
Above all, this conference includes an informal invitation for you to engage with fellow Geography Teacher Educators through social events in the evening.
In addition to the scheduled sessions, the conference actively encourages delegates to join a Friday night bar meal and drink, as well as dinner in a local restaurant on Saturday night.
During these social events newcomers to geography education can meet with more experienced colleagues in an informal setting to chat and socialise as a member of this welcoming community.
Where we are
The University is easily accessible, being close to Heathrow Airport (a short bus ride away) and Strawberry Hill rail station, for those travelling from Central London. This is an in-person conference, and so provides an opportunity for attendees to network and discuss ideas.
